Multiple Open Rank, Term, Renewable, non-Tenure-Track Faculty Positions
The George Mason University Department of Statistics, in the School of Computing within the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC), invites applications for multiple renewable term (non-tenure track) faculty positions. Applicants are required to have a PhD in Statistics or a closely related field before the start of this position. Applicants at the rank of Associate or Full Professor must have interests in outreach, curriculum development, and significant experience in an academic setting in teaching for at least six years post Ph.D. Applicants who have received an MS in Statistics or Biostatistics with an exceptional teaching record and skills/interests in using evolving technology may be considered for the rank of instructor.

Multiple Open Rank, Adjunct Faculty Positions
The George Mason Department of Statistics, within the School of Computing in the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC), invites interested applicants to join the faculty as part-time Adjunct Faculty members beginning Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in Statistics or a closely related field before the start of this position and have strong oral and written communication skills. In exceptional cases, a Master’s in Statistics or Biostatistics may be acceptable when combined with successful teaching experience.
