Mason Engineering's Department of Statistics is located 20 miles from Washington, D.C., in the heart of a region densely packed with statisticians who work for the federal government, the biomedical industry, and private companies.

Easy Access to Cultural and Entertainment Options

Get to the nation’s capital by taking our free shuttles to the Metro. Visit world-class museums, attend live theater and concerts, or become a fan of one of the local sports teams. There are three major airports in the region: Dulles International, Ronald Reagan Washington National, and Baltimore Washington International, as well as access to trains at Union Station in Washington D.C., and Alexandria, Virginia. You can also catch buses at Union Station.
