We are excited to host StatConnect 2025, a one-day event on March 21, 2025. The event will be held in the Nguyen Engineering Building on Mason's Fairfax campus. (See website for details: https://statistics.gmu.edu/statconnect-2025 or register here: StatConnect Registration Form)
StatConnect 2025 is a collaborative effort between the Department of Statistics at George Mason University, the Department of Statistics at George Washington University, the MS program in Data Science and Analytics at Georgetown University, the Statistics program in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Maryland, and the Washington Statistical Society. This event offers a valuable networking opportunity for students, faculty, and professionals from industry and government.
The day will feature a panel on data linkage, matching, and blending, followed by a keynote address from Nilanjan Chatterjee of Johns Hopkins University. The afternoon will include presentations by faculty and students, both oral and poster formats. Additionally, a Career Fair will be held at the same location prior to the event, starting at 9:00 AM.
